Worship on Washington 2016: The Legislative Clergy Council has initiated bills in several States for the House of Representatives and they will culminate their demonstrations at the National Lincoln Mall the same location that Dr. King gave his "I Have A Dream Speech." Meet us at the Washington Monument on July 30, 2016, with National Recording artist Jekalyn Carr and Casey J.
EXPERTS IN THE FIELDHarvard graduate and education expert Dr. William Jeynes, Senior Fellow with Princeton's Witherspoon Institute states there is a direct correlation between the decline of schools and the U.S. Supreme Court's 1962 decision to ban school prayer.
After years of research Dr. William Jeynes states that the United States has paid a price for removing prayer from school.
- The 1977 College board makers of the SAT test, concluded that our nation has moved away from values which are responsible for the lack of discipline. Therefore we have seen lower SAT scores from the removal of prayer in 1963 to this present day.
- Lack Of Religious tolerance for other religions
- First time in History SAT scores declined consecutively for 17 years after the removal of prayer
- Increase in Juvenile Violence and Crimes
- Increase In School Shootings/Murder
- Increase In Rape
- Increase Burglary
- Increase in Unwed Pregnancy
SIGN PRAYER IN SCHOOL PETITIONThe prayer in school bill is a non partisan legislation that focuses on children. Democratic sponsors of the bill are Rep.’s Billy Mitchell, Sandra Scott, and Mack Jackson. Republican sponsors are Rep.’s Dominic LaRiccia, Jimmy Pruett, and Steve Tarvin.
“I view this as common sense legislation,” asserts Rep. Mitchell, “that will give students the freedom to express their faith— neither compelled by the government.
Bill Clinton said it best ”Some families have been frustrated to see their children denied even the most private forms of religious expression in public schools. Here is where I stand: I believe the First Amendment does not require students to leave their religion at the schoolhouse door. Just as we wouldn’t want students to leave at home the values they learn from religion, we should not require them to refrain from religious expression. Reinforcing those values is an important part of every school’s mission.”
LEGISLATIVE CLERGY COUNCILLeader of the Legislative Clergy Council Pastor Sabrina McKenzie"A life of prayer is equivalent to the ethical and moral standard of its community, urges McKenzie. "Since prayer has been removed from the school system, there has been an increase in divorce, murder, violence -- and a decline in our nation's morals."
President Ronald Reagan said, 'Prayer has sustained our people in crisis, strengthened us in times of challenge, and guided us through our daily lives since the first settlers came to this continent. Our forbearers came not for gold, but mainly in search of God and the freedom to worship in their own way.

OUTBREAKSOutbreaks Across the Country
Baily Weaver, a senior in Fair Grove, was upset that a national group recently demanded the Hollister school district block organized school prayer and keep youth ministers out of school buildings. Over the weekend, after talking to a friend in Hollister, Weaver decided she had to take action. She organized 400 students to pray in the cafeteria. "I've never been afraid to stand up for my faith," said Weaver, 17. "I am a leader for Jesus Christ."
“While delivering his graduation speech over the weekend, a high school valedictorian sent shock waves through the crowd when he ditched his original speech and recited the Lord's Prayer instead. According to NBC affiliate WYFF, Roy Costner IV, who attended Liberty High School in Liberty, S.C., stunned those gathered at his school's graduation ceremony on Saturday when he ripped up his pre-approved speech at the podium before addressing the crowd. "Those that we look up to, they have helped carve and mold us into the young adults that we are today. I'm so thankful that both of my parents led me to the Lord at a young age," Costner said moments before launching into the Lord's Prayer. "You couldn't even hear him doing the prayer anymore because everybody was clapping and cheering," Logan Gibson, who attended the graduation, told WYFF ”
“EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - The valedictorian of a high school in Ohio led his class in a recitation of the Lord's Prayer during their graduation ceremony this past weekend after a musical version of the prayer that has traditionally been a part of the commencement for years was removed due to an atheist complaint.”
